Let’s head back to Matej and Carolin tonight as there is a special wine we need to look at. I’m speaking of their Cultus White, a blend of Pinot blanc, Malvasia and Zelen matured in a combination of stainless steel and oak.

Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, berries crushed and left to macerate in a stainless steel container. Finally, after a gentle pressing, the wine is racked to mature for twelve months in oak barrels and stainless vats.

This results in a wine of extractive, golden yellow colour with a slight misty and dense texture.

Its bouquet is intense, mature. we perceive baked apple, pineapple, also papaya, candied lemons, notes of dried yellow rose, acacia, nuts, butter, vanilla, white pepper, nutmeg and wild mint.

A wine of softness and warmth. At the same time fresh and mineral balancing its taste. It is intense, full-bodied and has a long, elegant persistence in which we perceive mostly hints of baked apple and sweet spices.

A bottle will cost you approximately 13 Eur and you can order it at Green papa and Wein natur.
