I must say that guys at Pasji Rep don’t stop surprising me. We checked the single plot Merlot last time, but tonight we’re in for yet another treat that has been recently released. We’re looking at their top cuve that is named Moser. A blend of biodynamically grown white varieties that matures in fudres.

Moser is a blend of autochthonous and traditional varieties of Vipava valley – Zelen, Rebula, Welschriesling and Malvazija. Grapes are destemmed, crushed and macerate for five days with spontaneous fermentation. Finally, the mash is gently pressed, and the juice is then racked in 1.500-litre fudres where it matures for twelve months before being bottled without filtration.

Moser displays an extractive golden yellow colour with dense texture.

Its bouquet is alluring and intense. We regard mature yellow apples, pineapple, lemon and orange peel, hints of butter, nutmeg, vanilla and hot stone.

It is a wine of texture, with crisp acidity bending with minerality, giving it a lovely backbone and round body. Intense and elegant, with lasting persistency but most of all emanating a pristine signature of the territory.

A wine that will easily mature for the next five to seven years but remarkably shows the style and elegance of the house. A bottle will cost you approximately 17 Eur, and you can get it at eVino and Bottleneck.
