Let’s head back to Jurij Brumec tonight to taste Meum‘s rose. Such a delicate expression, produced with free-run juice of Pinot noir to express in its delicacy and freshness.
We are just in front of the cellar entrance, looking at Pinot Noir vines that count for twenty years. They lay at an altitude between 380 and 430 meters above sea level on south-facing slopes. After picking, they are destemmed and laid in the press. Only free-run juice is used in the production. The juice ferments in stainless vats, and it comes to the market after a couple of months from the harvest.
This rose displays a bright cherry colour and has a fairly dense texture.
Its bouquet is intense. We detect cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, rose, a note of pomelo and white peach, as well as freshly cut grass.
The taste is dry, reasonably warm, refreshing and minerally tasty. It’s an intense and invigorating rose expression with flavours of roses, cherries, white peaches and cut grass—an elegant wine of just the right persistency and structure to evoke a sip after another.
It is a wine to drink now, and it is just perfect and harmonious. The suitable refreshment on these warm, summer days. You can order it by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling +386 41 563 267.
